It's not just the pounding of ice bags with the mallet (thanks for the funny reminder!) but for some reason, there are too many FA's who just end up making too much noise at their work. One would think that first class would be quieter and more conducive to relaxation than economy, but with the FA's chatting loudly -- fore and aft -- and banging the carts, trays, etc., it is just not as relaxing as it could be... Add in the NRSA's who have to yell from their seats to the galley. Oh well, the price of comfort, I guess.
