As the final two 777-223ERs went into the shop at the end of November for retrofitting with Premium Economy, and an AA spokesperson recently announced it, the 19 remaining 788s should be refitted during the first half of 2019.

That portends for a very dynamic half year with potential for seat scrambles. I’d avoid booking C seats in rows 6 or 7 as “insurance“.
