You could do a couple of mileage runs from BHM-BOS via ATL for $519 each. These earn 2900 MQM's per trip, so it would be slightly less than 6000 MQM's. Day trips to SDF, MEM, and CVG can be found from around $300 on some of those dates. These only earn 2000 MQM's from BHM, so you'd have to do 3 of them to get to 6000 MQM's.
You could do BHM-PDX on 12/30 with connections in ATL and SEA in each direction for $916 in Basic Economy or $976 in main cabin. This will earn a 6362 MQM's.
Unfortunately, this is just a very expensive time to be attempting mileage runs due to peak holiday travel demand.
