You can, of course, still get a hotel's email address by calling the hotel and asking for it. Then just keep them in your Contacts, and you'll eventually build up a nice collection of the ones you need. Sure, it's a PITA, and doesn't explain why Marriott wants to keep them secret, but it gets you the information you want.
