To the OP go for it, it is your certificate, if the property screwed up you can use it again. It seems a very manual process and the property only gets to apply for IHG reclaim if they collect the physical certificate.

There are so many ways IC screws it’s customers it’s nice to make them take a hit for the rest of us.
