I've booked WAW-DOH-SIN QR award flight. Additionally, I plan to book separate positioning flight GDN-WAW on LO. Both flights will be the same day (if it makes any difference).
It's difficult enough to get them to interline to OW on separate tickets, I would rate your chances very low as it isn't a stated benefit.
