I expected a bit of a fight over this, but i’m in complete stupor over how this went.
I emailed AA customer support earlier today. They replied within a couple of hours. No problem they said, we understand it can be frustrating, we’ve deleted your flight, go ahead and have JL try to credit it.
Did I maybe misstate my question to them?? Maybe I asked them to ... I don’t know, to bake a potato? I haven’t tried with JL yet, but if it works, this will have been the most painless interaction with a customer service agent like EVER.
