I certainly wouldn’t expect to get in so it was more if it was worth the try (especially if it involves a long walk to the lounge at SIN).
The Kris Flyer Gold Lounge at SIN is centrally located in T3, so probably no detour.
Exactly here I tried to get my son (besides my wife which had no status at that time) into the lounge. The answer was 'ok we make an exemption this time.' He was around 16 years.
But it is five years ago.
