Hi - new boy on the AA forum here - and piggy backing the thread with an itinerary change question.

I have had an email from BA (but not from AA) about an equipment change on the a BA-operated leg of an AA ticket. It is purely an aircraft change, from 747 to 777, with no timing change. Is that sufficient reason to call AA to try to change that sector, or does there have to be significant timing change?
