I am thinking that once the last statement cuts in December, any charge after that would never, ever show as a current year charge. Assuming this is not the first month for this card/customer the billing date is not going to change, so no more postings to RR until the next year.

Said another way, if the card closes out on Dec 17th for example. Then every single charge, charge-back or anything else will not show until Jan 17th when the next statement closes.
