i recently added an infant to a booking, the agent said my daughter has been added but he was unable to finalise the booking and that he would forward to ticketing and I would hear within 24hrs. He took my credit card details, on MMB I can see they have been added but no money has been taken? Can I assume if they are added in MMB all is ok?
I had the same problem when I upgraded our flights to F from CW, I’ve been told the back office reissue tickets based on travel dates, so like us, our travel date is not till Feb19, they would sort all the tickets before our travel dates before reissuing ours. BA doesn’t take the money off your card till they’ve reissued your tickets. BA system can only hold your CVV for a week, after that you need to give them the CVV again. I’ve rang You First a few times before someone would do it over the phone for me rather than ask me to wait.
