You're going to hate life aloft.
This happened to me a number of years ago when I moved from SEA to SFO. While in SEA I was 1K for I think 2, maybe 3 years, and never once missed an upgrade. Six months after moving to SFO I lost my 1K status and dropped down to Silver. It sucked. I *had* to check-in a T-24h in order to secure E+ seats for free. Fortunately most flights I was able to get exit rows at 1Ks or GS were CPU'd up to where I really wanted to sit.
Also, the big drop in RDMs for each dollar spent on a flight is going to feel like you're being robbed after getting the 11x dollars spent.
I did not hit 1K again until this past year (qualified for 1K in 2018) and can say that I really did miss having the upgrade certs (RPUs, GPUs), the extra RDMs, and once actually being CPU'd (SEA-SFO).
