Yes, that's what I mean. My original itinerary had pods HKG-BKK and back and I knew there was a snowball's chance in hell of both or even one, but I got one. It hardly matters and the service and food are great. Front row in the 2 part of 2-3-2 (or 2-4-2) is a good spot.
I think we agree at the result in your instance but not the reasoning:
You: you were initially allocated the pod, you eventually ended up with the regional but it does not matter to you (but it may matter to someone else)
Me: you bought the regional, you got the regional which is what you are entitled to.
