Hello. I haven't read every post on this thread, but I find it interesting that so many travel nerds like us "let" our Global Entry expire. It is ultimately my responsibility to renew on time, but it seems like our friends in the US government could save much time and expense by sending out reminder emails prior to expiration. As a point of comparison, I'm also in the UK Border Force registered traveler program (I'm a US citizen), and they sent me a reminder weeks before expiration in mid-November. I clicked to renew immediately and needed to provide almost no new information, just confirm some stuff. I then was notified one week later that I'm good; they have a written SLA of 10 business days for the decision.

Whereas for for Global Entry...

Expired November 1 (no notification about expiration or the need to create a new profile or GOES going away; found out by getting rejected in TSA Pre-check line at airport; oddly, I did have Pre on the way to that destination, and that flight was three days after my GE/Pre expiration)
Applied on November 8 (classified on TTP site as a renewal, not a new application)
As of December 3, still waiting for conditional approval

Other pertinent facts...been to about 20 countries in Europe and Asia over the last five years, my wife also has GE, no immigration or customs issues in the past, applied around a couple of holidays so maybe I should expect longer wait (Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving)
