Hyatt Regency Tashkent location

Very centrally located in Tashkent with a lot of government offices and embassies nearby. Walkable to some tourist sights. About 15 mins by car to the US embassy and 15 to 20 mins walking to the UNDP office.

You can find a supermarket across the street next to the Toyota dealership. It has almost anything you would need during your stay including birthday cards and children's toys.

Walk through the underpass rather than the crosswalk at the lights. Restaurant Torento does everything from Turkish to Italian to some Russian dishes. It's the greasy spoon of the neighborhood with constant foot traffic.

Park Odo (across from the hotel) is quite lovely with some of the biggest trees I've ever seen. The Timur Museum is fine for killing 1 or 2 hours in.
