OP you have the luxury of living in a competitive airport environment for TATL flights. The competition is creating cheap flights negating the value of the avios. If you live in ATL, Avios have around $0.02 in value for Y TATL. Mid May 2019 is $2333.86 for 2 or 65000 avios plus $1145.52
