Flew Qantas recently to Sin upstairs on the 380 and hated the seat, one of the most uncomfortable journeys I've had in a long time. Particularly disliked how the way the seats move mean the screen is pushed right in your face when the person in front reclines and impossible to use the table. Thought the dinner was tasty though and do like having menus - it's not enough to say fish or beef or whatever, I want to know what the dish is. In theory there was an extra snack between dinner and breakfast but as the flights are overnight both ways and most people were asleep, it wasn't actually offered. It was on the menu and as I got up to stretch my legs and passed through the galley to use the bathroom I got offered it.

Did the same trip on BA a couple of weeks later also upstairs on the 380 but was able to get bulkhead seats both ways so was a much better trip for me. All the overnights I've done over the last year have been a cooked breakfast so not come across the cereal bar option.

I've been working in Doha on and off for over 10 years so flown QR a lot and do like them but it's been noticeable how over that time all little extras in Y have been eroded.
