It is more complicated than it used to be.

Before "Simpler and Fairer", a flight in A class between LAX and JFK on QF*AA or AA*AA would earn 150 SC.

Now the latter just earns 75 SC.

MIA-JFK in Business on AA*AA earns 60 SC, while another Business Class flight of more than twice the distance JFK-LAX on AA*AA earns just 50 SC.

Simpler? No! Fairer? - Only for QFF, not PAX.
