AFAIK, there's no commercial air service to Yokohama, but that's OK, because it's basically in suburban Tokyo. You'd take the train.
If you actually meant some other Japanese airport -- you can try getting an agent to make the change for you as an excursionist perk; no guarantees that it will work. However intra-Japan awards are 5-8K one-way, depending upon distance, so it wouldn't be a huge number of additional miles if the agent won't price it as an excursionist perk. You
probably won't have any problems changing from NRT-DEN to XXX-NRT-DEN, as the agent
should be able to hold the NRT-DEN inventory for you. Some agents may balk if there's no inventory on NRT-DEN, though, as it will look like there's a mileage difference.
