Only because millennials have allowed it to become so. When you have nothing and nothing to lose, you have no need for privacy.
Twitter or IG doesn't require any personal information unless you choose to add it to the profile.
Not sure what millennials have to do with the loss of privacy or social media as a whole. I'm not in that group and use it regardless. The real loss of privacy is connected to the government, not private companies who give you a platform to voluntarily participate on.
But hey, nobody forces you to take advantage of this promotion.
