I have a friend visiting who has a late-day itin on Monday (direct flight) out of Seattle and would like to change to an early morning flight. Any experience (especially out of Seattle) on whether there's any likelihood of leniency on the no-change policy if she asks at the airport? For sure not something that can be counted on, but
if there is any leniency, it's going to happen at the airport. If your friend goes, they should be prepared to either buy a new one way (very expensive) ticket, or wait for their scheduled flight. Add this to the list of reasons not to buy these fares.
