Yes, I did assume you referred to calls to US/CA, my bad. However, what threw me off is your phrase "when outside of the US". As far as I know, whether you are outside of the US or not, you pay the same rates for making outbound calls with GV. So, with Hangouts there is no difference where you are in the world as far as the rates go.


So, you mean that calling Papua New Guinea from abroad via Hangouts was more expensive than calling via Hangouts from the US? I have only called EU numbers, but for me it was the same.
