Very useful - I didn’t know this!

FWIW, I don’t think the lounge dragons know about this rule too. I recall flying into KLIA late at night in J but departing early dawn on the following day also in J - and the lounge dragon was creating a stinker about allowing only lounge access if my departure was on the same day! Eventually I got into the lounge upon insistence. But if they had known, then I should have been allowed access on the basis of my arrival in J, without the erstwhile stinker caused.
