I don't like that when news stations make up their own three letter code, like DIA and KCI.

The San Francisco news always says "ess eff oh" when referring to SFO airport. ^

LAX and DFW are two airports that have a 100% success rate in this respect. The only alternative is spelling out the entire name which almost no one does.

Every airport should have a sign at the entrance with the airport code the size of LAX.

Saying "DIA" should be a bannable offense.
