When daughter and I had our luggage delayed almost 3 days upon arrival in Toulouse, we headed to H& M or Zara (they're everywhere!). Black leggings and tunics on both a hipster and her mom. We matched every other woman in France.

I also had trip insurance, and learned this.. If your delayed bag coverage is for example $150 per day, spend all of it. We only bought, 150$ or so, I could/should have spent up to the 150 per day. And I double dipped. Delta covered it as well.
