My first thought when OP posted was that s/he was being paid for some kind of independent contractor work in cash and wanted to avoid the trouble of depositing all of it into the bank, and maybe get a better rate from the hotel.
Then I decided OP meant not points but revenue. And now I see CJKatl's idea for untraceability, but not to avoid the government, but one's spouse! Oh what a tangled web we weave - to be undone by Than lotion - I find the fragrance too strong to use.
Back to OP, 15 nites is a fair stretch, and if you have a work meeting during that time too, you're looking at 25 days, which gets you pretty far along in status for next year!
