Since I watch movies on my laptop, and not on the overhead screen, I prefer bulkheads. On the 757, as everyone else has noted, 1AB are the only option if you too desire a bulkhead seat, thanks to the cutout. 1B is also nice because you can look into the galley so you never lack for service. 1CD is worse then Economy Minus for legroom.

On the Airbus, if you want a bulkhead, most seem to have tons of legroom in Row 1, but some have been "reconfigured" a bit and 1AB then have a cutout which helps. But note 1CD on the A320 is nowhere near as cramped as 1CD on the 757.
