All AA domestic flights (other than Transcon LAX & SFO to/from JFK 3 cabin flights) have the "forward" cabin marketed as first, but is really a business class cabin for the purposes of fare/booking codes - hence the (I) with I being a business class code, not a first class code, and so will earn business class Avios, TPs etc, w.r.t. BA.
