Data point:

Used my card on Oct 19 this year. Was reminded when used, my card expired on Oct 20 this year. Completely forgot about it. Applied for renewal that day.
Was finally approved without interview for renewal today, Nov 28. Almost 6 weeks.

Approved by the DFW office, the same office i applied for my original.
