Agree, on mult-sector itineraries it doesn't hurt to cross-reference with the award tables to ensure the correct points cost. Although I haven't found an instance yet where the points have been in error. Many people get confused by the rule that adds sector points together if you change between award tables.
Sometimes the QF site will return an overall booking error, which necessitates a call, but the call centre is able to charge correctly. .
