I usually prefer Rows 3 - 5 on the 757, but I do recommend you also avoid row 2--there is noticeably less legroom in row 2 than other rows.

I just completed 4 legs on the 757--seat 3D all the way except for last leg in 2D and there was a noticeable difference.

Also noticed an entertainment box under the window seat in Row 2 on only one of the aircraft--had to put the briefcase in the overhead. Odd...
