Aloha - Inter-island flights are generally fairly full so your chances of open seats at 24 hr will vary. TIP - for best chance you will need to check in online at exactly 24hrs prior to depart.
Paying for Exit/Extra Room???? Flights are very short 20-30 min.... extra room boarding in group 2 vs 3. Upgrade to first at check-in for non-elites fee-cost = $50 if available. First Class benefits from free checked bag and boarding group 1.
Is it worth it ??? Depends ..... YMMV
