OP was really asking about a domestic - international connection at LAX, where, as other posters have advised, 40 min is barely doable and strong inadvisable, particularly given the domestic inbound is an Eagle flight. Mods, perhaps consider renaming the thread accordingly or consolidating it into the LAX thread?
