My family (myself, wife and a 5 year old) are planning a 1 week trip to Ireland. I have 80,000 miles on United, and about 500,000 Chase Reward points. The Chase points can be moved to United a 1:1.
A search on the United site shows that we can book 3 business class tickets for 70,000 per person there, and 60,000 on the way back. That does sound like a pretty good price, compared to paying with cash
But the Aer Lingus site shows a business class ticket is 50,000 per person with off peak pricing. I believe United and Aer Linugs are partners, and I can transfer my Chase point to Aer Linuges as well. Can I make this trip happen for 300,000 instead of 390,000?
