CX will not release the seats in the F cabin on a 2 class plane service to those who are not MPC members when they call in advance - if they haev been blocked. If they are available for general seat selection, sure, anyone may request them.
Sorry GB, have to disagree on this one. I had experiences where they are blocked but when I provide my BA Emerald number and my friend's AA Sapphire number, we were able to get row 1 or 2 on those flights. Done it a few times. Only thing not sure was that we were traveling on F tickets but I doubt that has anything to do with it.
