So, I joined Accor Plus recently to find out it couldn't be merged with my current Le Club Accor account cause, I was told, I had ibis Business thingie attach to it. It doesn't make sense. I thought Le Club account is the main thing, and ibis Business and Accor Plus are an addition that could just keep being added into the main account. Anyway, Accor Plus representative created a new account for me and promised I could merge it with the Le Club account later once ibis Business is expired.

Question is.

1. I have plat status with the Le Club, now I book my stay with Accor Plus account to get the extra discount. Do I still gain platinum status rate reward points? (44 points versus 31 points as silver)

2. When the 2 accounts merged later on, would reward points and status points from the 2 accounts be counted altogether?

3. To make thing simple with the points, can I book hotels with Accor Plus account, but have points put into my Le Club account instead? Can I do this by informing the hotel at check in that I want all points put into another account?

I understand that I could ask the representative these questions, but to be honest he didn't seem to be spot on with the rules. For example, I need to correct him that free breakfast for plat applied to 1 room only and not guest rooms. I guess I trust answers from real experiences more
