I have an Avios multi-partner itinerary for myself and the GF for next year. This was built up in a number of stages, so the last two flights were booked and ticketed first, then the remaining three were secured and ticketed later. Once all was done, payment was taken and ticket numbers appeared in the App. However, I noticed that we both had separate ticket numbers - one [each] covering flights 1-2-3 [BA and JAL] and one covering flights 4-5 [QR]. I've refreshed a few times on each, so I don't think it's merely a caching issue.

The reason that I am cautious about this is that flight 3-4-5 are a connecting sequence - hence I wanted to check here to see if these being on separate ticket numbers is likely to cause any issues as regards either checking baggage all the way through or handling in IRROPs situations. If necessary I can call in and push for reticketing as one, but don't wish to unnecessarily faff with the call centre. Possibly worth noting that I haven't received email confirmation of the itinerary yet either [payment was taken on Saturday].

Cheers!
Oneworld flights connecting to Oneworld flights in same PNR with separate tickets baggage can be checked through. Its only if you had non Oneworld separate tickets in same PNR or separate PNRS that this would be an issue.
