The ibis Business card and Accor Plus are mutually exclusive. Accor communicates on its webpage somewhere that individuals aren't allowed to be a member of both programs simultaneously.

Now the question is who made a mistake. Maybe the Accor Plus rep who either forgot to check eligibility requirements or chose to ignore them in order to earn a commission on signing up a new member?

I'm just guessing, not accusing. The point is you shouldn't have been able to join A+.
