Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I just called TK and the agent was able to "link" the reservations. He said this does not mean that both tickets are under one 6-digit reservation code, but they are somehow linked in the system.
I am fine with that solution - just out of curiosity, does anyone know what this "linking" actually means?
