TK can put a note in the respective PNR notes section of the two e-tickets. If a human being happens to look at it, they will see that you are traveling together. But, auto-rebook won't see that.

In the event of IRROPS, simply present yourself for rebooking together. If you are auto-rebooked separately, simply have one moved to the flight which best suits.
