I've been in there twice this year and have been admitted to the first class lounge even though I was flying business (Emerald status I guess). I'll be able to verify in a few wks when I fly back through and this time only in coach.
I'll echo this. Flew through PVG on Sunday 11/25 and the AA desk gave me an invitation for the Air China lounge. They escorted me into the first class side of the lounge. Table service was pretty good. Even with 2 AA flights (and maybe others?) the lounge really didn't get too busy.
Was MUCH better than whatever lounge I used last year when I flew on BA. But to be fair, that flight leaves around midnight, so they might be limited by what lounges are open so late.
