OK, I think that I understand. I did New Year's Eve there several years ago with
LIH Prem and our significant others. We ate in the Orchid Café. IMO while it was definitely a full house, it wasn't
too crowded. Actually, other than the inherently festive atmosphere, décor, etc., and some special items on the buffet, it didn't feel different from any Saturday night in Orchid when it's full. There was plenty of food, and nothing on the buffet was allowed to go empty before being replenished. Service and staff attentiveness was completely up to normal SGS/Orchid Café standards. And one of my favorite things about Orchid is that the music from upstairs in The Living Room wafts down. If I were going to be in Thailand for New Year's Eve this year, I'd happily spend it at Orchid Café with
LIH Prem again.
