Well if there was any doubt that Savers fares are simply an excuse to raise main cabin fares, look no further than the Cyber Monday sale. SEA-LAX $99, SEA-SFO $89, SEA-DCA $229. Not any sale at all as far as I can see. Actually it even worse, looking at random dates in Feb. SEA-LAX almost all the fares are crazy high, from $200-300 EACH WAY almost across the board. I don't see how these fares could even be real.
