For future parade goers, we had a fantastic viewing experience at 59/6th. Not only were you able to see the parade coming down 59th along the park, but we were able to enjoy a relatively quiet setting where after 10-20 minutes our whole family was in the front row of the route. Would do this again!
We were at 66th and it was a bit crowded. We were several rows back. Arrived about 7:45am. We were on the west side. The east side along central park was much less crowded. There were even port-a-potties there. Not sure if it was a ticketed area. No Bleachers, which seemed to be between 77-68th streets.
What time did you get there and which side of the street were you on?
