Took round trip this weekend SFO-LHR. Outbound connected in ORD on 787 (same aircraft SFO-ORD and ORD-LHR) and return connected in PHL (same aircraft A330 for both segments). Travelled first row in J cabin all flights with spouse. What we both noted when we went to lie flat how terribly cramped we were for foot space on the Dreamliner. The Airbus was really roomy and far better. We simply could not get comfortable in the 787 coffee seat config that AA was using. We have taken the 787 LAX to SYD last year and did not notice this.
Disclosure: Wife and I are only 5'8''. Hate to think if we were over 6'
Anybody else notice this? I apologize if my findings are old news to some.
