I originally booked premium economy fare to use on a status match to delta. Now that CZ is leaving I decided the $100 cancel fee was worth it. The problem though is trying to reach the cancellation option by phone was impossible. Thanks for this thread, i was able to get things done.

[email protected] This email was given for cancellation. I emailed them and after 2 back and forth emails over last 24 hours and my cancellation and refund is in process.
Cutting it close with the flight a week away, this was highly efficient compared to calling. Now lets see if they enter OneWorld and maybe even become a partner of Alaska airlines, id be quite happy. I normally use Hainan for china travel but CZ has reasonably priced Premium Economy even if it means bussing it to NYC.
According to what I have been told by skyteam staff (by email) CZ will still honor Skyteam benefits and mileage until the end of 2019. One world membership is also far from certain but plenty of Oneworld members are excited at the possibility.
