It's the soft product that some don't like, and I don't necessarily disagree. It just needs a few tweaks to make it competitive, IMHO.
Yeah beyond the seat size and comfort I didn't see that much value added. Air Canada's boring IFE selection was the same as Economy and while the meals were better than Economy, the meals alone would not be a worthy reason to upgrade.

Just upgraded my upcoming YYZ-PEK flight to PE for $450 because I need to rest well on that flight. Will see how my second PE experience will go.
