I have posted about a great stay at the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen in that thread, but I thought I would post this here so that more people would see it. The moderators can leave it or move it as they see fit.
I got a nice surprise last night. My partner and I had spent the past week plus, up until Wednesday, at the Grand Hyatt in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Then, to Phoenix for Thanksgiving. I flew to Chicago via DFW, with an overnight at the Hyatt Regency DFW last night. When I arrived in the room I saw the following note:

We remember your preference for Margaritas and Diet Coke. Bring this card to the Aces Bar for a couple on us.
In the refrigerator, were three cans of Diet Coke. The only person on earth who could have done this is the Guest Services Officer, Uriel Loyo, at the Grand Club in Playa del Carmen. We had hit if off with Uriel because he grew up in Chicago. We had gone to the club throughout our stay and gotten plenty of Diet Coke during the day and drank Margaritas at night. No one in Dallas could possibly have known this and no one would have known where I was last night. What made this extra nice is that Hyatt is a Pepsi shop in the U.S. (Coke products in Mexico). So, someone had to actually go outside and buy Diet Cokes at his request.
A rather small thing in the grand scheme of things, but incredibly thoughtful. What a great ambassador for Hyatt and this hotel.
