No, hard maybe but not impossible:

1. Don't look too far ahead, availability increases closer to flight time (6-8 weeks seems to be better)

2. Be flexible, shop around dates ( i got standard BF from IAH-EWR-MAN ) but had to adjust dates that fit ( although Easypass rewards were available almost everyday)

3. If multiple flights, call Onepass as they can look at wider availability (instead of one day at a time on co.com) and they can also check partners (NW,Delta, KLM etc.)

4. If all else fails, try different locations in the same country or region
