OTOH there are some nice and even renowned Sheratons in Southeast Asia, for example KUL and BKK (not Royal Orchard, the SGS place that's actually LC). In Europe, there are good Sheratons at FRA, CDG, and AMS airports. However, I agree with you that the Sheratons in Tokyo and Hong Kong, for example, are dumps, although Hong Kong does have Towers rooms for a hotel within a hotel experience.
